NSC: Measures to be taken against ongoing terror attacks in Syria

The ordinary meeting of Turkey’s National Security Council (NSC), chaired by President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, was held at the Presidential Complex on Friday.

According to the statement released after meeting, the council underlined the importance of taking further measures against terrorism in various parts of Syria, especially Idlib.

About the “Deal of the Century”, which was announced by the U.S. President Donald Trump alongside terrorist Netanyahu on Tuesday, the council said that unique solution is the establishment of an independent Palestine state, on basis of 1967 borders with east Jerusalem as capital.

“As a requirement of its 500-year friendship with the Libyan people, Turkey will fulfill its responsibilities in all areas in order to restore trust and stability in Libya,” the council underlined.

Touching on the tensions between Iran and U.S. over the assassination of Quds Force Commander Qassem Soleimani, the council called for common sense.
