Number of mothers performing sit-ins in front of HDP building increasing

A mother held a sit-in protest early morning on Tuesday in front of the HDP building in Diyarbakır on the grounds that her son had been kidnapped to the mountains while another mother joined her on the same grounds.

Mother Fevziye Çetinkaya staged a sit-in protest Tuesday early morning in Diyarbakır, in front of HDP provincial presidency on the ground that her 17-year-old child S. Çetinkaya was kidnapped by HDP/PKK to the mountains to be recruited by the organization.

Following the Fevziye Çetinkaya, another mother Remziye Akkoyun joined the sit-in protest for her son, Azat Akkoyun, who was kidnapped by the PKK.

The PKK kidnaps children to be recruited and join fights in Syria and other regions while painful mothers demand their children to be sent back.
