One of the most virtuous servants to build a mosque

The voluntary imam of Green Dome Mosque, which is under construction in Turkiye's Diyarbakır, Ömer Bozkır said, "Building mosques is rewarded by Allah as one of the most virtuous servants."

The construction of the Green Dome Mosque, which is under construction in the Barış Neighborhood of Diyarbakır's central Kayapınar district, is awaiting construction assistance.

The Green Dome Mosque, which has about a thousand people capacity and has Qur'an courses for both men and women in its premises, was not timely completed due to financial impossibilities.

"Building mosques or reconstructing and prepared for worshippers have been rewarded by Allah as one of the most virtuous servants. The good deeds of this virtuous will even continue after the one [who built the mosque] dies," said the voluntary imam of the Mosque, Ömer Bozkır.

Reading verses from Qur'an and Hadiths related to building a mosque, Bozkır said, "The mosque is the center of Muslim life. It is a place where Muslims come together, socialize and unite. That is why Muslims should claim this sacred. If the mosques could undertake their real mission, there would be none disputes among Muslims."

"The calamities, which rain on us like the darkest nights, would be eliminated if the mosques could undertake their real missions. Our children are getting fooling with drugs and social media today. We only could prevent these [disasters] if we could take Mosques into the center of our lives. That is why Muslims must take care of mosques; solve mosques' problems as much as they can."
