Over 60 zionist settlers defile Al Aqsa Mosque under police protection

Dozens of zionist settlers defiled into the courtyards of the Al-Aqsa Mosque in the occupied Jerusalem earlier on Tuesday.

More than 60 zionist settlers broke into the courtyard of Al-Aqsa Mosque during the morning break-in session, entering through the Damascus Gate.

They provoked the Palestinian worshipers by performing Talmudic prayers in the mosque, local sources said.

Al-Aqsa Mosque is sacred to Muslims because the first of the two Qiblas was Jerusalem.

In Islamic tradition, Al-Aqsa is said to be the second Masjid. The mosque is also the third of the two holy Sanctuaries under Islamic Law.
