Pakistan buys 30 ATAK helicopters from Turkiye

Turkiye and Pakistan signed the deal for the sale of 30 T129 ATAK helicopters, largest defense industry exports was realized at once.

According to the statement made by the Ministry of Defense, the ongoing T129 ATAK helicopter contract negotiations between the Turkish Aerospace Industries (TAI) and the Pakistani Defense Production Ministry were finalized.

A formal contract was signed between the two countries for the sale of 30 T129 ATAK helicopters. In addition to this sales, TAI has reached a consensus on a large contract package in terms of logistics, spare parts, training, and ammunition.

The 'T129 ATAK Attack and Tactical Reconnaissance Helicopter' is being used in the inventory of the Turkish Armed Forces and the Ministry of the Interior with the new generation of missions and weapons systems and the best performance and maneuverability of its class with its design developed in accordance with the challenging climate and geographical conditions. With these features, ATAK is among the most important players in the global market.

'T129 ATAK' helicopter, which subjected to extensive testing Pakistan Land of Force in Turkiye and Pakistan, has passed all the tests that meet successfully requirements and attack the most efficient in its class in the world is said to prove the distinction of being an attack helicopter.

With this agreement, Turkiye has made the largest defense industry exports at once.
