Person insulted headscarves at the airport, detained

Bülent Kökoğlu, who insulted the headscarves at the Istanbul Atatürk Airport, Turkiye, was taken into custody.

Bülent Kökoğlu, who insulted the headscarves with the video he took at Istanbul Airport, was taken into custody by police.  

Bülent Kökoğlu, who came from Izmir to Istanbul airport, insulted headscarves in the video he shot here, and used expressions such as "dirty headscarves, ninjas, black beetles".

Bülent Kökoğlu, who spoke to the camera about his rage feeling towards women in headscarves, said in the video that he came from Izmir. He also murmuring and harassing the woman in scarf passing behind of him.

With the video he shot at the airport, Kökoğlu called headscarves "immoral and dishonorable" and vomit his hatred against religious people.

The words of Kökoğlu "there are dirty headscarves, black beetles, ninjas everywhere," caused anger in social media.

Bakırköy Public Prosecutor's office launched an investigation against Bülent kökoğlu over the scandal video after shared in the social media.

Kökoğlu reportedly was questioned in police custody. Kökoğlu will appear to the court for "inciting people to hatred and hostility".
