Phone Call with U.S. President Trump

President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan had a telephone conversation with President Donald Trump of the US on Monday.

Highlighting the importance of following up on the matters discussed during the NATO Summit in Brussels, the two leaders exchanged views regarding the developments in Syria.

Pointing to the significance of the meeting President Trump of the US and President Vladimir Putin of the Russian Federation will hold in Helsinki, President Erdoğan wished him success.

It was underscored that the implementation of the joint roadmap on Manbij will significantly contribute to cooperation on resolving the Syrian issue.

Also discussing legal issues between Turkiye and the US, President Erdoğan, and US President Trump reaffirmed their commitment to furthering bilateral cooperation in all areas.
