President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan delivered a speech at the opening ceremony of Kazan Soda Electric in Ankara. Minister of Energy and Natural Resources Berat Albayrak, Minister of Labor and Social Security Jülide Sarıeroğlu, Chairman of the Boards of Directors of Ciner Group Turgay Ciner were also present at the ceremony.
Regarding the latest developments in Syria, President Erdoğan reacted to the announcement that the US would establish a "border army" formed of 30,000-strong under the command of PYD/YPG in Syria.
“A country we call our ally insist on establishing a terror army along our borders despite all our objections, warnings and well-intentioned suggestions. Can a terror formation established along Turkiye’s border have a target other than Turkiye?” Erdoğan added.
“The U.S. has now acknowledged that it is in the process of establishing a terror army along our borders. Our duty, in return, is to nip this terror army in the bud. Sorry but you will be disgraced in front of your strategic partner,” the President said.
