Qur'an courses continue with all their beauty

The Qur'an courses run by the Presidency of Religious Affairs and started in all the mosques continue with the participation of thousands of students.

Run by the Directorate of Religious Affairs in all mosques and Qur'an courses of the country, the work to make children love mosque, Qur'an training, and religious education continue at full speed.  

Thousands of children who flock to summer Qur'an courses, learn basic religious knowledge along with the Qur'an training and in various activities.

Van Provincial Mufti Deputy Sabahattin Kesti stated that 57,000 students in 600 points throughout Van province and districts are offering Quranic education and religious education during the summer vacation.  

Kesti stated that they were striving along with volunteer citizens to teach the religion of Allah, the sacred book to children.

Kesti reminded that the courses of the Qur'an have entered activity in all the mosques by the schools' holidays, said:

"Summer Qur'an courses started in June. It will finish on August 17, 2018. I thank our parents here. May God be pleased with them; they held the hands of their children and brought to the mosques. We have opened the Qur'an courses in every mosque, in the city center, in villages, and in all neighborhood. We started this with joy. Our children have both enjoyed and learned Islam."

Mehmet Emin Akay, imam of Al-Omar Mosque, said that summer Qur'an courses are the most beautiful and productive time for children to get used to the mosque and to love.

"Our aim is to warm children to the mosque and Qur'an education"

Expressing that they do not only teach the Qur'an but also religious education, imam Akay said: "We have fun for social activities and better education for the children in the mosques. Our aim first is to warm children to the mosque and Qur'an education. A child cannot learn without getting warm to the mosque and to the religion. Therefore, thanks to Allah, we succeeded in that way. Mosques are the meeting places."
