As a result of an immigrant boat sank off Kuşadası in Turkiye's Aydın, 9 people, including 7 children lost their lives, 4 other people reportedly were saved.
"Turkish Coast Guard Command received an anonymous tip at around 03.25 a.m. about a sinking boat off Kuşadası," said Turkish Coast Guard Command in a written statement.
Explanations said that 4 irregular migrants were rescued while the lifeless bodies of 9 irregular migrants were reached as a result of search and rescue operations carried out by 1 SG helicopter, 1 SG plane, 2 coast guard boats and 1 diving team rushed to the scene.
