Relations between the two countries are growing stronger

Visiting Paraguay, President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan said in a joint statement that diplomatic relations between the two countries are growing stronger.

President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan was welcomed with an official ceremony by President of Paraguay, Mario Abdo Benitez, at the Lopez Palace in Asuncion.

Upon their arrival at the Lopez Palace, the First Couple were welcomed by the First Couple of Paraguay.

Following his tete a tete meeting with President Benitez, President Erdoğan was decorated with Paraguay’s Order of State. President Erdoğan and First Lady Emine Erdoğan also attended an official dinner hosted in their honor by President Benitez and his spouse Silvana Lopez Moreira Bo.

After their official talks, the two leaders issued a joint statement.

Praising the strong diplomatic relations between the two countries, the Presidents agreed to take steps for further development of bilateral relations in economy, education, culture, science, technology, and trade.

President Erdoğan thanked President Benitez for the warm hospitality extended to himself and his delegation and invited President Benitez to Turkiye with the aim of further deepening the bilateral relations.
