Russia sends more military police to Syria-Turkish border under peace agreement with Turke

Russia has sent an additional 300 military police to Syria, the Russian defense ministry said on Friday.

Russian military police and Syrian border guards will remove all PKK/ YPG members from within 30 km (19 miles) of the Turkish border by next Tuesday.

Russian military police personnel will facilitate the withdrawal of the PKK/YPG members from the border with Turkey as part of the agreement signed by Russian President Vladimir Putin and his Turkish counterpart Recep Tayyip Erdogan earlier this week.
