The London-based Syrian Human Rights Observatory announced that Russian warplanes launched air strikes against Idlib, the last city in control of opponents.
The sources said the Russian warplanes hit civilian residential areas in Jisr al-Shughur City, areas of Basanqul, Ghani, Innab, Sirmaniyah west of Idlib, Zayzun area north of Hama, as well as the opposition’s frontlines.
According to a Syrian opposition observatory, so far 20 attacks were carried out by three Russian warplanes, which took off from Hmeimim airbase.
While the attacks continue, the number of casualties is unknown.
It was stated that Russian warplanes started to hit Idlib again after 22 days silence.
It is estimated that approximately 4 million civilians have been living in the region, as well as armed opposition.
It is feared that the Syrian regime is massacring in the region.
Idlib issue will come to the table during the leaders of Turkiye, Iran and Russia summit planned to be held in Tehran on September 7.
