Tensions have been growing since the weekend's drone attack on two of Saudi Arabia's national oil company Saudi Aramco's most important oil refineries.
Tensions between Riyadh and Tehran continue to escalate with the latest revelations.
Defense Ministry spokesman Col. Turki al-Maliki said at a news conference that the attack was orchestrated from the North and supported by Iran, which rising the tension.
Al-Maliki said 25 drones and missiles were used in the attacks last Saturday. The spokesman claimed that the UAVs and missiles were used by Iran's Revolutionary Guards.
These statements came from Saudi Arabia, while Iranian President Hassan Rouhani said before Malik's press release that his country was not involved in the attack, and they do not want a conflict in the region.
