At least 5 tons of PKK-owned marijuana were seized during the operation conducted by Turkish Armed Forces after the governorate of Diyarbakır declared a curfew for the region.
The curfew has been lifted on Wednesday announced by Diyarbakır governorate while said 5 tons of PKK-owned marijuana were seized in the operation in addition with weapons and munitions.
"The curfew, which was declared for 21 villages and hamlets in the district of Lice, Diyarbakır, was lifted. 5 tons of marijuana, weapons, and ammunition belonging to the PKK were seized, while 6 shelters were destroyed," Diyarbakır governorship announced.
