According to the statement, S-PPI (2017=100) increased by 1.14% monthly, by 21.23% on December of the previous year, by 20.40% on same month of the previous year and by 13.53% on the twelve months moving averages basis in October 2020.
Transportation and storage services increased by 26.68% annually
The indices increased by 26.68% for transportation and storage services, by 20.06% for accommodation and food services, by 8.74% for information and communication services, by 5.76% for real estate services, by 14.61% for professional, scientific and technical services, by 20.58% for administrative and support services compared with the previous year.

The indices increased by 2.76% for transportation and storage services, decreased by 2.79% for accommodation and food services, increased by 2.23% for information and communication services, by 1.05% for real estate services, by 2.58% for professional, scientific and technical services, decreased by 1.36% for administrative and support services compared with the previous month.
The lowest annual increase was in telecommunications services by 0.99%
The lowest rates of annual increase in S-PPI by subdivisions of services were for telecommunications services by 0.99%, motion picture, video and television programme production services by 4.26%, real estate services by 5.76%. On the other hand, the highest rates of annual increase in S-PPI by subdivisions of services were for air transport services by 44.30%, for warehousing and support services for transportation by 41.70%, for water transport services by 32.23%.
The highest monthly decrease was in accommodation services by 9.76%
The highest rates of monthly decrease in S-PPI by subdivisions of services were for accommodation services by 9.76%, for travel agency, tour operator and other reservation services by 5.66%, for information services by 2.21%. On the other hand, the highest rates of monthly increase in S-PPI by subdivisions of services were for programming and broadcasting services by 27.55%, for advertising and market research services 9.18%, for warehousing and support services for transportation by 5.83%.
