"Shopkeepers cannot even pay their rent"

HUDA PAR General Administrative Board Member Vedat Turgut remarked that the troubles of the local trades increase day by day and said: "Our traders have come to a situation where they cannot pay even their rent."

HUDA PAR General Administrative Board Member Vedat Turgut said that tradesmen could not even pay their rents in the process after the conflicts that broke out with the ditch politics in the region and the explosions in the city.

Listening to the problems and troubles of shopkeepers in Diyarbakır's Bağlar province, Turgut stated that tradesmen and employers want stability.

Indicating that the conflicting process in the region and then the ditch politics in the city and the bombs exploded inside the people negatively affects the trades of the shopkeepers at least 70-80%, Turgut urgently demands that the troubles experienced in the region, especially the Kurdish issue, should be resolved.

Visiting shopkeepers in Emek Street in Bağlar district of Diyarbakır, which was one of the busiest streets in the city, Turgut said, "Forget about making a profit, unfortunately, our tradesman came to the point where they could not pay even their rent. By the end of 2017, our tradesmen had no expectation from 2018. Most traders are hurrying to close their jobs and do something else. There is a need for stability in the country. People, tradesmen, workers and employers want stability."
