The Geneva airport, where 1.5 million passengers travel each month, has been closed to air traffic for an indefinite period. Most flights were canceled at Glasgow airport in Scotland, which has opened on Thursday morning.
Most schools in Kosovo, Albania, the United Kingdom, Italy, and Portugal were also closed due to the storm.
