Spy Brunson released

Turkish court lifted house arrest in the case of spy pastor Brunson.

The Turkish court ruled in the case of American spy pastor Andrew Craig Bronson, who was arrested in Izmir on charges of crimes and spying on behalf of FETO and the PKK but was taken under house arrest by claiming "health problems".

At the Izmir Heavy Penal Court 2, Brunson and his lawyer attended the hearing.

The ruled after shortly after the break. The court gave the penalty Brunson 3 years, 1 month and 15 days, but decided to release considering the time he has been under arrest.

The court also lifted Brunson's house arrest and the ban on leaving abroad.
