With the agreement between Qatar and China, the visa application between the two countries has been lifted.
Chinese and Qatari foreign ministers came together under the Chinese and Arab countries co-operation council session held in Beijing, China's capital.
Negotiations for the removal of visa applications have been signed in the talks of the foreign ministers of the two countries.
In the talks took place between the Minister of State for Foreign Affairs of Qatar, Sultan Bin Said al- Merihi and Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi, diplomatic, economic, commercial, touristic and consular relations issues were discussed in order to strengthen the relations between the two countries.
The parties agreed that visa requirements should be lifted mutually after the negotiations. While Qatar exports natural gas to China, China sells a large number of commercial products that Qatar needs. The trade volume between the two countries was 103 billion dollars (2017).
As is well known, four Arab countries, including Saudi Arabia, Egypt, UAE, and Bahrain, have boycotted Qatar, which they accused of supporting terrorism and negotiations with Iran, and closed their airfields to Qatar.
