Stranded in the sea, 119 immigrants rescued in Libyan off

Libyan coast guard patrols on Tuesday rescued 119 immigrants in western Libya in two separate operations, who were stranded in the sea.

In a statement made by the Naval Forces of the Libyan Government of National Accord, 119 immigrants, who were stranded in the western coastal off, were rescued.

"119 illegal immigrants were rescued, including 11 women and 2 children from Egypt, Senegal, and other African countries, who were first sent to the Naval Base in Tripoli and then to the Tacura Asylum Center," the statement said.
