“At the joint meeting of the sovereign councils and ministers, we passed the various amendments bill (adoption of the double financial system), the public-private partnership bill, the investment bill, and the bill to repeal the law on the boycott of israel,” Justice Minister Nasredeen Abdulbari said in a Twitter post.
Sudan has had the law since 1958 that forbade establishing relations with the zionist regime, and outlawed business with citizens of the zionist regime as well as business relationships with zionist companies or companies with zionist interests. The law also forbade the direct or indirect import of any israeli goods.
