The cyber-attacks target Turkish sites

The cyber-attacks particularly targeted Garanti Bank as well as some public institutions and organizations.

The cyber-attacks, which started in the morning of October 27, 2019, targeted Turkish sites, particularly Garanti Bank as well as some public institutions and organizations.

After these attacks Turkish telecom, Vodafone and Turkcell infrastructures were collapsed.

Regarding the cyber-attacks yesterday occurred, Vice Turk Telekom General Manager of Technology Yusuf Kirac made a statement:

"One of cyber-attacks can be exposed to many organizations in the world even state so we had the case of live for some institutions in our country. The attack Turkey's information, communication and technology company, was stopped by the timely intervention by cyber security experts competent in the field of Turk Telekom.
