Japanese government will distribute free coronavirus vaccines to all of its citizens under the bill approved Wednesday.
The government has bought Covid-19 vaccines for 60 million people from Pfizer, which get an emergency-use approval in the United Kingdom, and for a further 25 million people from Moderna.
It will also receive 120 million doses of coronavirus vaccine from AstraZeneca.
Japan has so far reported more than 153,000 COVID-19 cases with 1,908 deaths and 127,000 recoveries.
