The minimum wage raises 14 percent in Turkiye

The Minimum Wage Assessment Commission has set the minimum wage for 2018 as 1,603 Turkish Liras.

Labor and Social Security Minister Sarıeroğlu explained the minimum wage in 2018.

The minimum wage for 2018 gross 2029 TL, net pay 1,603 TL announced Minister Sarıeroğlu on Friday.

"The minimum wage in Turkiye is rising from 1,404 Turkish liras per month ($370) to 1,603 liras ($423) per month as of 2018, after reaching an agreement with stakeholders following month-long negotiations," Labor Minister Jülide Sarıeroğlu said at a press conference.
