The coronavirus pandemic, which was first identified in Wuhan, China and declared a pandemic by World Health Organization on March 11, is continuing to claim the lives of thousands of people across the world.
The United States, the current epicenter of the pandemic, has the highest number of confirmed cases of coronavirus with 987,322 cases, followed by Spain with 226,629 cases, Italy with 197,675 cases, France with 162,100 cases, Germany with 157,770 cases, the United Kingdom with 152,840 cases, Turkey with 110,130 cases, Iran with 90,481 cases and China with 82,830 cases.
A total of 881,567 patients have so far recovered and been discharged from hospital worldwide.
