The number of the confirmed cases of coronavirus rises to 90,000 across the World

The coronavirus outbreak, which first was detected in Wuhan city, Central China, in December 2019, has claimed the lives of more than 3,000 people across the World.

The coronavirus COVID-19 is affecting 77 countries and territories around the world. The outbreak has claimed 125 lives outside China so far.

One person, who tested positive for coronavirus, has lost his life in Iraq on Wednesday.

"23 lawmaker tested positive for coronavirus," Parliament Deputy Speaker Abdul Reza Misri said in a statement.

260 conferences have been canceled due to coronavirus in Europe.

The U.S. death toll from the coronavirus rose to nine on Tuesday.

Olympic minister of Japan Seiko Hashimo said on Tuesday the Tokyo Olympics could be held later in the year instead of starting on July 24.

The first confirmed coronavirus cases were confirmed in Saudi Arabia, Jordan and Tunisia.

"We are in unchartered territory with COVİD19. We have never before seen a respiratory pathogen that is capable of community transmission, but which can also be contained with the right measures," said Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, Director-General of the World Health Organization.

WHO declared the new coronavirus outbreak as a Public Health Emergency of International Concern on January 31.
