The USA hits madrasa in Afghanistan

More than 100 instructors, students and civilians were killed or wounded in a madrasa hit by US' bombs in the Kunduz province of Afghanistan.

The US has caused more than 100 instructors, students and civilians to be killed or injured in an air strike carried out in Afghanistan during a graduation ceremony in a madrasa [religious school] in Kunduz province.

An Afghan official working with the US in the region indicated that the attack was directed at the Taliban, but the introduction of a number of wounded children in a hospital in the region indicated that the civilians were targeted.

On the other hand, according to a report by the Civil Protection Advocacy Group (CPAG), at least 121 civilians lost their lives in Afghanistan during March, 322 civilians were injured.

The CPAG also accused the Afghan forces causing of at least eight civilians to be killed in a military operation in the Nangarhar province on March 17.
