Muş, which one of the coldest provinces in Turkiye, citizens carry the grass to the village after a rough ride with the sleds to give it to their animals, which they stowed on high hills in the summer.
Villagers who cut grass during the summer cannot carry it to the village due to the fact that the hill in Boğaz hamlet of Karabey Village, which is located near Muş province, is off the beaten place, are waiting for snowfall to bring the grass they stowed in a sheltered place.
After the snowfall, the villagers, who took their sleds and set off to take the grass, which is about 4 kilometers away from the hamlet, put the grass into the sleds and then go down the road covers with the snow with more difficult efforts.
Cesim Kaya, one of the inhabitants of the village, stated that they are doing hard work, "Since we live in rural areas, we do not have the opportunity to use technology."
"We move the grasses we have cut in summer with the scythe to the village in winter," Kaya said. Stressing that they carry grass they loaded on their sleds through 4 kilometers road, Kaya added that they work in cooperation.
Mahmut Kaya, another villager said, as villagers, they are waiting for the winter because they could not take the summer grass to the village in summer due to by-road.
"We can't bring the grass we cut in summer because there's no road. We are stacking them on a high hill. Following the snowfall, we carry them to the village by sleds to give to our animals," he said.
