The Minister, who attended the opening of the Mardin Museum ceremony, said he mentioned in one of his speech he made two years ago that the US and Russia will come to the de facto war point.

"The war of proxies is over, the wars of commerce have begun"

Speaking of the escalating events between America and Russia, Kurtulmuş said:

"In one of my speech I made on October 12, 2016, I said that there is a limit to the war of proxy. If we do not find a peace regime that the Syrian people want, we will soon come to the war point of the US and Russia. Someone threw a stone in the well and whole the world is looking for that stone for 2 days. The war over proxies is not enough for them. This has come to an end. Then it followed by commercial wars. First, America raised customs walls against China. After that, China did the same. The world is being dragged into a great conflict," said Kurtulmuş during his speech here.
