Affiliated to the Palestinian Liberation Organization [PLO], the Palestinian Central Council passed a motion on Monday urging Palestinian Authorities to suspend all agreements with the zionits and revoke recognition of the jewish state until the zionists formally recognize a Palestinian state on the 1967 lines.
The decision must be approved by PLO leader Mahmoud Abbas and the PLO Executive Council in order to be implemented.
In its declaration, the Palestinian Central Council called on Hamas, which controls the Gaza Strip, to abide by all agreements aimed at ending the internal division.
It was stated that all "dirty" projects, which aim at the geographical integrity of Palestine and which aim to divide the Gaza Strip, West Bank and East Jerusalem in a sociological sense, have been rejected, and all of these projects are part of the Agreement of the Century.
The two-day meeting of the Palestinian Central Council in Ramallah was boycotted by key resistance groups such as Hamas, the Islamic Jihad Movement, the Palestinian Democratic Liberation Front, the Palestinian People's Liberation Front, and the National Initiative.
