Turkey administers more than 59 million doses of coronavirus vaccine

Turkish Health Minister Fahrettin Koca said that the number of coronavirus vaccines administered in Turkey so far surpassed 59 million.

“We've passed 59 million doses. As the number of million doses increases, we are much closer to immunity,” Koca tweeted.

The COVID-19 vaccination campaign in Turkey began on 14 January 2021. Turkey currently uses 3 different vaccines in its fight against coronavirus pandemic, which has so far claimed about 50,000 lives in the country.
