Turkey condemns deadly attack in Niger

Turkey’s Foreign Ministry has issued a press release regarding the attack in Niger.

“We are deeply saddened by the news that 28 people lost their lives and hundreds were injured in a terrorist attack carried out against civilians at the night of 13 December 2020, in the southeastern region Toumour (Diffa) of Niger,” the Ministry said.

“We deeply condemn this brutal attack. We share the grief of the friendly and brotherly people and the Government of Niger. We wish Allah’s mercy upon those who lost their lives and extend our sincere condolences to their families. We wish speedy recovery to those who were injured,” the Ministry added.
