Turkey: Construction cost index increases by 27.82% annually

In January 2021, the construction cost index (CCI) increased by 7.44% compared with the previous month and increased by 27.82% compared with the same month of the previous year, the Turkish Statistical Institute said in a statement on Wednesday.

The material index increased by 3.22% and the labor index increased by 17.69% compared with the previous month. Also, the material index increased by 32.17%, and the labor index increased by 19.45% compared with the previous year, the statement said.

The building construction cost index increased by 28.36% annually and 7.78% monthly

The building construction cost index increased by 7.78% compared with the previous month and increased by 28.36% compared with the same month of the previous year. The material index increased by 3.32% and the labor index increased by 18.35% compared with the previous month. Also, the material index increased by 33.02%, and the labor index increased by 19.70% compared with the previous year.

The construction cost index for civil engineering increased by 26.00% annually and increased 6.30% monthly

The construction cost index for civil engineering increased by 6.30% compared with the previous month and increased by 26.00% compared with the same month of the previous year. The material index increased by 2.90% and the labor index increased by 15.29% compared with the previous month. Also, the material index increased by 29.46%, and the labor index increased by 18.51% compared with the previous year.
