Turkey: Consumer confidence index drops to 76.8 in October

The index became 76.8 in October while it was 79.7 in September, the Turkish Statistical Institute said in a statement on Thursday.

The seasonally adjusted consumer confidence index decreased by 3.6% in October compared to the previous month, according to the statement.

The financial situation of the household index became 60.7

The financial situation of the household index at present compared to the past 12 months period which was 62.6 in September decreased by 3.0% and became 60.7 in October.

Financial situation expectation index realized as 75.6

The financial situation expectation of household index in the next 12 months period which was 79.0 in September decreased by 4.4% and became 75.6 in October.

The general economic situation expectation index became 74.2

The general economic situation expectation index in the next 12 months period which was 79.3 in September decreased by 6.4% and became 74.2 in October.

Assessment on spending money on durable goods index realized as 96.6

Assessment on spending money on durable goods index over next 12 months compared to the past 12 months period which was 97.7 in September decreased by 1.1% and became 96.6 in October.
