Turkey is determined to develop its relationship with Pakistan, Altun says

"Turkish-Pakistani relationship will not only benefit both nations but improve international peace and security," said Fahrettin Altun, Communications Director, Republic of Turkey, in a statement on Twitter.

"Pakistan recently eased visa requirements for Turkish citizens. Yunus Emre Institute operates in Lahore & will open another center in Karachi. Our development agency TIKA also has great projects underway. These will allow our cultural exchanges to deepen our relationship," Altun added.

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan paid a two-day visit to the Pakistani capital city of Islamabad on Thursday for the sixth meeting of the Turkey-Pakistan High Level Strategic Cooperation Council.
