"Within the framework of the agreement reached with the Russian Federation in Sochi on October 22, 2019; the third joint land patrol began with the participation of Turkish and Russian military elements and UAVs in the region between Kamisli and Derik in the east of Euphrates," the statement said.
According to the agreement between Ankara and Moscow, the patrols should conduct within a depth of up to 10 km inside Syrian territory east and west of the area under Turkey's exclusive control, or 120 km of border between Tal Abyad and Ras al Ayn.
