Turkey sends anti-coronavirus donations to Iran

Under the contract signed between Turkey Health Ministry and Iran ambassador to Ankara, Turkey sent the anti-coronavirus donations to Iran for fighting coronavirus.

Deputy Health Minister Emine Alp Meşe and Iran ambassador to Ankara Muhammad Farazmand signed the contract on Tuesday.

The medical items that have been sent to Iran for fighting coronavirus are as follows:

- 1,000 kits

- 4,000 face-masks

- 4,750 scrubs

- 2,400 goggles

- 78,000 three-layer masks

- 20,000 medical aprons

The United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF) as well as some other countries, including China, the UAE, Germany, France, the UK, Japan, Qatar, Azerbaijan, and Russia, have sent aid to Iran to help the containment of the disease, which has so far caused more than 1,000 deaths in the country.
