Turkey sends reinforcements to Syrian border

Armored personnel carriers, ammunition-laden trucks and commando reinforcements are being deployed to the Syrian border.

Armored personnel carriers carrying commandos and some of the ammunition-loaded trucks went to Hatay by passing through the city center of Kilis, southern province of Turkey.

A convoy carrying armored vehicles and military equipment also passed through İslâhiye district of Gaziantep, leading to Hatay province.

5 Turkish soldiers and 3 civilians were killed and 9 injured, including 1 in critical condition when Syrian regime artillery fire targeted Turkish surveillance point in Idlib province of northern Syria.

Retaliatory fire from Turkey army killed at least 13 Syrian government soldiers, the local sources reported.
