Turkey to export coronavirus diagnostic kits

Turkish Health Minister Fahrettin Koca said Wednesday that Turkey would export coronavirus diagnostic kits, which were produced in the country, to foreign countries.

"Death toll from coronavirus outbreak has risen to 1,016. Nearly 100 people die every day. Although there is a decrease in the number of confirmed cases, China has not taken the coronavirus outbreak under control exactly," the Minister told the reporters in Turkish Parliament.

The coronavirus diagnostic kits developed by Turkey are suitable for preliminary or emergency medical screening and for use in medical facilities with limited resources.
