Turkey’s death toll from coronavirus rises to 9,950

Turkey has reported 76 new deaths from coronavirus in the last 24 hours, bringing the country’s death toll from the virus to 9,950, the country’s Health Minister Fahrettin Koca said in a statement on Tuesday.

According to the statement, the number of patients reached 366,208, an increase of 2,209 patients over the past 24 hours.

While at least 1,827 patients are in critical condition, 317,519 patients suffering from the disease have so far recovered and been discharged from hospital.

13,478,452 tests for coronavirus have so far been conducted to detect infections in the country.
