Turkey’s Erdoğan to visit Bosnia and Herzegovina and Montenegro

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan will pay an official visit to Bosnia and Herzegovina on Friday at the invitation of the Bosnia and Herzegovina Presidential Council.

"All aspects of the bilateral relations between Turkey and Bosnia and Herzegovina will be reviewed, and potential steps for the further deepening of the current cooperation will be discussed at the talks to be held with Chairman Željko Komšić and Members Šefik Džaferović and Milorad Dodik of the Bosnia and Herzegovina Presidential Council," Turkish Presidency said in a statement.

Following his visit to Bosnia and Herzegovina, Erdoğan will pay an official visit to Montenegro on August 28, 2021 at the invitation of President Milo Đukanović of Montenegro.

“All aspects of the bilateral relations between Turkey and Montenegro will be addressed, and steps that would further deepen the cooperation between the two countries will be discussed during the talks to be held in Montenegro.”

“Views on the recent developments in the Balkans as well as on other regional and international issues will be exchanged at the meetings to be held during both visits,” the Presidency added.
