Turkey’s industrial production rises by 7.5% annually

Industrial production increased by 7.5% annually, Turkish Statistical Institute said in a statement on Monday.

According to the statement, when the subsectors of the industry (based on 2015=100) were examined, mining and quarrying index increased by 1.7%, manufacturing index increased by 8% and electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning supply index increased by 4.4% in February 2020, compared with same month of previous year.

Industrial production increased by 1.2% monthly

When the subsectors of the industry were examined, while mining and quarrying index decreased by 5.8%, manufacturing index increased by 1.6% and electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning supply index increased by 1.3% in February 2020, compared with previous month.
