Turkey’s Presidential Cabinet will convene to discuss latest developments

Turkey’s Presidential Cabinet will convene on Monday under President Erdoğan's chairmanship at the Presidential Complex.

New measures against coronavirus pandemic, including new restrictions, and the researches for vaccines and treatments as well as the vaccination timeline are expected to be at the table during the meeting, according to the presidency’s Directorate of Communications.

The recommendations put forth by Coronavirus Scientific Advisory Board will also be discussed at the meeting.

The country’s Defense Minister Hulusi Akar is slated to brief the cabinet on the Turkish Armed Forces’ ongoing operations in northern Iraq.

President Recep Tayyip Erdogan will make a statement after the meeting.
