Addressing citizens at an opening ceremony of the newly-built social security institutions in Istanbul, Erdoğan said: "Turkey’s social security and healthcare services reform has set an example to the whole world. Many countries have taken action to build a similar system, but most of them have failed. Even the U.S., one of the richest countries in the world, has not achieved its goals in this area. What makes Turkey, which has gathered almost all its population under the umbrella of social security and healthcare services, different is that it has also ensured the sustainability of the system it has built."
