Turkey’s top officials visit Libya

Turkish ministers Hulusi Akar, Mevlut Cavusoglu, and Turkey's spy chief Hakan Fidan arrived in Tripoli, the capital of Libya, on an official visit.

“Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Turkey, together with Hulusi Akar, Minister of National Defence and Hakan Fidan, Director of National Intelligence Organization will pay an official visit to Libya on 3 May 2021,” Turkish Foreign Ministry said in a statement.

The delegation has met with the Prime Ministry of Government of National Unity of Libya, Abdul Hamid Dbeibah in Tripoli.

During the visit, bilateral and regional issues will be discussed, according to the statement.
