Turkish military base burned in Iraq

In the response that 4 civilians were killed during the air campaign carried out by the Turkish Armed Forces, people in Iraqi Kurdistan set fire to the military vehicles in the base belonging to Turkiye in Duhok.

A Turkish military base in the Shiladzê District of the Iraqi Kurdistan Regional Government in the city of Duhok was set on fire by a group of people in response that four civilians were killed by Turkish warplanes.

In response of four civilians lost their lives during an air campaign carried out by the Turkish Armed Forces, people have walked to Turkish military base according to NRT.

A group of people who came to the Turkish military base set fire to tanks and military vehicles on the base, the report said.

In response to disperse people, Turkish troops reportedly fired air NRT said, while 2 protesters were wounded.

Iraqi Kurdistan Forces reportedly removed Turkish troops to a safe place while the equipment in the base was set fire by protesters.

On the other hand, Director of Amedi Health Directorate Najib Said confirmed that at least one protester has died after protesters stormed a Turkish military facility in Duhok province.

Turkish and Iraqi Kurdistan officials have not yet made an official statement about the events while the tension continues climbing in the region.
