Turkish President Erdoğan meets with UN Secretary-General Guterres

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan met with United Nations Secretary-General Antonio Guterres at Vahdettin Mansion in Istanbul on Friday.

Minister of Foreign Affairs Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu, Chairman of Foreign Affairs Committee of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey Volkan Bozkır and Turkey’s Permanent Representative to the UN Feridun Sinirlioğlu were also present at the meeting. The meeting lasted one hour.

Antonio Guterres has come to Turkey to attend the 6th Istanbul Mediation Conference on Thursday. The Conference brought together policy-makers, diplomats, international organizations, and NGOs in Istanbul to discuss the practice of mediation.
