Erdoğan’s visit to Angola will be the first Presidential visit from Turkey to this country.
“The political and economic relations, which gained momentum following President João Manuel Gonçalves Lourenço’s visit to Turkey on July 27-28, 2021, will be further advanced with this historic visit,” the statement said.
Erdoğan’s visit to Togo is of historic nature since it, too, will be the first Presidential visit from Turkey to this country. During the talks in Lomé, all aspects of the bilateral relations will be addressed, and reinforcing cooperation will be discussed.
On the last leg of his Africa tour, Erdoğan will visit Nigeria, with which we share long-standing and strong relations. During the official talks in Abuja, steps that can be taken to deepen the current cooperation will be discussed.
The visits will also give the leaders an opportunity to exchange views regarding bilateral relations as well as regional and international issues.
Erdoğan will address the National Assembly of Angola during his visit.
Erdoğan is also expected to attend the business forums that will be held on the margins of his visit to Angola and Nigeria and meet with representatives of the business world.
