Turkish security forces detain 18 ISIL-linked suspects in Istanbul

18 ISIL-linked suspects were arrested early Wednesday morning in Istanbul, Turkey’s economic, cultural and historic center.

The suspects, who were arrested over suspected links to the ISIL, are being interrogated in Istanbul Police Headquarters.

According to Turkish officials, the suspects, who were captured at pre-determined addresses in 11 districts, were operating in conflict zones in Syria and Iraq and entered Turkey illegally.

The suspects will be taken to the court when their official procedures at the Police Department are completed.
